We were recently sent a few Southern cookbooks from the good folks at OMG Publicity. In a Snap!: Tasty Southern Recipes You Can Make in 5, 10, 15, or 30 Minutes by Tammy Algood author of Farm Fresh Southern Cooking. Elvis’s Peanut Better and Banana Sandwiches
Yield: 2 Sandwiches
|4 slices||bread of your choice (I normally like multigrain)|
|1/2 cup||smooth peanut butter|
- Spread peanut butter to one side of bread
- Gently crush banana slices into the peanut butter.
- Cut diagonal.
- The recipe calls for serving with potato chips; but I tried crushing and sprinkling into my sandwich and it was awesome!
